We had a great first day!
We

• took a fun quiz where the students learned about me. 
• We went over a few classroom procedures.
• Made human number lines based on shoe size, hair color, age, siblings etc.
• A letter to themselves explaining to themselves and myself what they are excited and nervous about this year.
• read-a-loud Matilda
• the toilet paper/snowball fight icebreaker.

It was great to meet all of the students and I can tell this is a great bunch of kids.  I can already tell we will have an awesome year being with the students for only a few minutes.
