Today we created folders and organized our Google Drive accounts.  We also added bookmarks we will use throughout the year.  Since we have been so well behaved this week, we got an additional 20 minutes of recess.  We worked on a lengthy real world word problem about whether the all you can eat pasta bowl at Olive Garden is a worthwhile deal.  For ELA, we read out chapter books, and read a Scholastic News. We debated over the length of the school day.  What a fabulous first week of school!.

Don't leave us hanging! Is the all-you-can-eat pasta bowl at Olive Garden a good deal or not? Hungry bellies want to know. I'll have to ask Bea about the result. I'm loving this website, by the way! Thanks so much for creating and maintaining it. :-)

The Olive Garden all you can eat pasta bowl is worth it for some and not for others. We figured out that if you were to go everyday for lunch and dinner the cots would end up being about one dollar per meal. But we live an hour away from Olive Garden and it would be alot of gas to drive there all the time. For us in Ithaca it wouldn't be worth it because you have to go 2x a week to make your money back let alone get ahead.
